With a second-row bench, Armada offers seating for up to eight, while the available second-row captain's chairs let seven passengers stretch out in style. Either way, the third row can seat three adults comfortably, and the second row is roomy enough to cross your legs. Even with all three rows up, there is still 20 cubic feet of space for all your gear.
Flexibility is second nature to Armada. The available power third row gives you options at the touch of a button. When folded, you've got 56 cubic feet of storage, and you can still seat five lucky travelers. The folding second-row bench splits into three sections to add even more versatility. When the second and third rows are folded flat, Armada lets you and your favorite co-pilot store a massive 97 cubic feet of gear. Or, the entire passenger side folds down, including the front passenger seat, to store long items like surfboards or kayaks.
TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR COMFORT.
Comfort is customizable in Armada. The available Memory System allows you and another driver to save your preferred positions. The Nissan Intelligent Key recognizes who is who, then moves the driver's seat, the power adjustable pedals, and outside mirrors accordingly. Add in heated front and 2nd-row seats and steering wheel and you'll find yourself surrounded in convenience, comfort, and technology.
COMMAND A WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY.
Avoid Traffic and get there smoothly. The available Nissan Navigation System not only helps you find the best family-style restaurant in town, it also points out the best way to get there with XM NavTraffic. This feature displays color-coded real-time traffic advisories to help keep you away from the gridlock. If the route you want to take is red, the navigation system can provide an alternate route. When the street shows orange, it signifies some slowing. If you see green, it's smooth sailing.
Keep everyone entertained for hours. Maybe even days. Follow your hometown team on XM Satellite Radio or bring along everyone's favorite tunes. With all a 6-CD changer, XM Satellite Radio, and available iPod connections, Armada will keep the family happy from coast to coast and back again. And whatever you're listening to, the available Bose system -- custom-tuned for this interior -- will make it sound superb.
Nissan DVD Entertainment System. In addition to watching movies, you can play your camcorder through the DVD system's auxiliary inputs or plug in your video game system on the large 8" flip-down monitor.
MANEUVER WITH EASE
Sonar smarts. Armada's standard Rear Sonar System and optional Front Sonar System beep when they sense an object up to six feet away, and increase in frequency the closer you get to help you maneuver in tight spaces.
Aramada captures its surrounds. The available RearView Monitor helps you see objects behind you when parking. It activates whenever you're in reverse and is also ideal for lining up your approach to a boat trailer.
Imagine never having to pull the key out of your pocket again. Approach your Armada with your key in your pocket or bag, and the available Nissan Intelligent Key senses that you've arrived. The system unlocks the doors and rear liftgate as soon as you touch the button on the door handle. For an additional measure of convenience, the available power rear liftgate will automatically open with just a pull of the handle or touch of a button on the remote.
UNBRIDLED POWER
The V8 engine that powers Armada is constructed of lightweight aluminum components to help provide immediate response. Its strength and durability come from the aluminum block and forged crankshaft.
Armada's 9,000-lb towing capacity makes pulling your full-size toys a breeze. The transmission's Tow/Haul Mode holds lower gears longer for plenty of get-up-and-go, and the available auto-leveling rear suspension helps provide a more level ride height and consistent ground clearance.
The Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) feature allows Armada to run on ethanol E85, standard gasoline, or any mixture of the two fuels. These vehicles are not available in all states -- please check with your local Nissan dealer.
UNCONDITIONAL POISE
Available All-Mode 4WD is so advanced, it responds instantly and continuously adjusts the amount of power distributed to each wheel for maximum control in varying weather and road conditions. All-Mode automatically switches to 4-Wheel Drive to improve traction on rough terrain, and switches back to 2-Wheel Drive for optimal fuel economy when things smooth out.
The independent rear suspension helps absorb bumps and offers quicker road response. It also makes the ride more comfortable -- especially for those in the third row -- over other SUVs that are built on a traditional truck suspension.
A full-length fully boxed frame lies at the heart of Armada's solid high-strength foundation. The results include better rigidity and a smoother ride for all three rows.
BIG ON SAFETY.
Six standard air bags form the core of Armada's comprehensive safety strategy. The Nissan Advanced Air Bag System incorporates dual-stage supplemental front air bags according to crash severity and seat belt usage. Armada also has front side-impact supplemental air bags built into the seat, so they move with you. In addition, roof-mounted curtain supplemental air bags help provide head protection in the event of a side impact or rollover.
Rollover sensor. Every Armada is equipped with a rollover sensor. When it detects an impending rollover, the system deploys the curtain air bags to help provide enhanced head protection for all three rows of outboard occupants.
Brake Override Technology. Like every Nissan since 2005, Armada comes standard with Brake Override Technology. It's designed to help slow down your vehicle and bring it to a safe stop in an emergency by overriding accelerator input and reducing engine power when the accelerator and brake pedals are applied simultaneously.

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) helps you stay on your steered path by reducing engine speed and / or applying appropriate brake pressure to specific wheels.
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) rapidly pumps the brakes to help prevent your wheels from locking
Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) senses wheelspin and applies braking pressure to the slipping wheel(s), while redirecting power to the wheel(s) with the best traction.
Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) detects additional weight and sends added brake force to the rear wheels.
